Cranes
We have heat straightened all types if cranes that have been damaged from pressure tests that have failed to various impacts and hurricane damage. Heat straightening is very cost effective compared to replacement and can repair most damaged booms in place without the cost of removing the boom and setting it down on the ground. We work hard to respond to all emergencies as quickly as possible. Time and cost is a very important factor to our customers and we always keep that in mind while assessing and working on a job. All of our work is done with pride and our quality of work shows it. We have between two and three (4) men crews which gives the option of working around the clock when necessary; in addition, most of my men have more that five years of experience with heat straightening or flame straightening.

Bridges
We have heat straightened hundreds of damaged steel bridges all over the United States. The damage ranges from over height load impacts to fire damaged caused by burning fuel trucks. Flame straightening is very cost effective compared to replacing the bridge; generally, about one-third of the price! Our welders are D1.5 certified in structural steel bridge welding and have up to 25 years experience. We also specialized in emergency response to anywhere in the United States. Our company takes pride in not only heat straightening or flame straightening what you have contracted us to do, but also doing many of the small extras without any back charging or change orders.

I-Bars
We have heat straightened hundreds of railroad bridges than have needed the I-bars heat straightened. Loose I-bars can cause many problems in a bridge. Some common results of loose I-bars are: bridges that sway from side to side, floor beam connection angles to crack, rivets breaking or even bolts that have replaced the rivets. We can heat straighten worn pin problems that cause diagonal built up members to pump back and forth. The flame straightening or heat straightening of loose I-bars can solve most of the problems in a bridge. This can all be done under traffic with very minimal disruption to normal traffic. Most swing spans with clearance problems at the rocker can be solved with flame straightening or heat straightening. We have raised the ends of swing spans a s much as 3 inches on both ends, even removed 50,000 lbs. of counter weight off of one end of a bridge and made it balance correctly with the added counter weight.

Railroad
We specialize in emergency derailment response for heat straightening or flame straightening for all railroads from class 1 to short lines. We have between two and three (4) man crews to assist in setting your steel bridges back up and running in the shortest time possible. We have one boom truck that is equipped with high rails to do the work needed on any damaged steel bridges. We can heat straighten many damaged steel members under traffic or with windows allowing us to get the job done. We have all the experience and tools to do just about anything to repair your steel bridges . Our experience includes heat straightening bridges that have had their pins washed out and sagged 23 inches down and flame straightened them back up to a positive 3 inch camber. We generally ask for a defect list on your bridge and will try to make it smaller by repairing items on the list without the worry of being back charged or adding change orders.
